FOR BEAUTY and FOR GLORY
That we as vessels, holy vessels, consecrated by the precious blood of Jesus... a holy priesthood... the chosen bride for Your Son, Abba, carry the beauty and the glory of Your Son Jesus Christ... that the beauty of holiness, the glory of His entire being is made manifest in and through our lives... such a beautiful mystery. That we may be called the bride of Christ and called Your children, Abba.
The beautiful story and tapestry, You O Lord, have been weaving from the beginning of time. The priesthood. The vessels. Initially contained in one place, which in and of itself was glorious and beautiful. Chosen by a holy God to be consecrated, a representative of Himself, to be one who enters into the holy place to commune with the beautiful holy God. Chosen to carry that which was deemed holy to the One who is HOLINESS, God.
This being only a very small insight, to Your bigger picture, the reality of this truth going forth into all nations... that vessels would not be simply clay, wood or gold; but they would be living breathing beings which You O Lord created with the bigger picture in mind: that which You had painted from before time began. That we, Your holy vessels, Your beloved Bride, Your chosen priesthood would be ones who carry Your very beauty and Your very glory. The completely alluring, intricate yet extremely stunning story You have written us into... that we would be called by Your name. Accepted in the Beloved, Jesus Christ.
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling; what is the riches of His inheritance in the saints; and what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked when He raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places..” Ephesians 1:17-20
